It's Been One Year

It's Been One Year

It’s been one year since the first case of COVID in the US and we are still fighting the virus. We all had our lives upended by the pandemic. Over the past year, we are living a more virtual existence, from the way we work, learn and socialize. Adjusting to the coronavirus culture has not been easy but we humans are resilient.

We stay vigilant.

The number of covid cases are slowly declining as we continue to adhere to CDC guidelines that give us a fighting chance to returning to normal:

Wear a mask
Keep 6 feet apart
Avoid crowds
Avoid poorly ventilated spaces
Wash your hands often
Cover coughs and sneezes
Clean and disinfect surfaces
And get the vaccine when is it available
And we stay positive.

While social distancing has been difficult, people have found some upside. Many have reevaluated how they spend their time and life goals. Most of all, people are putting more value on their relationships. Because that is what will get us through the pandemic.

So let’s keep fighting.
